Redistribution Policy

How Perspicium data may be used and shared — designed to protect users, partners, and the integrity of the product.

Effective date · November 2025

1. Purpose

This Redistribution Policy (“Policy”) explains how Perspicium data, analytics, indicators, and insights (“Perspicium Data”) may be accessed, used, displayed, and redistributed. The intent is to protect Perspicium’s proprietary methods and prevent reconstruction or resale of underlying data.

2. Definitions

  • Raw Data: Unprocessed source-level data (e.g., tick/trade-level records, full options chains, timestamps, strikes, sizes, prices) or any output that mirrors a third-party data feed.
  • Derived Insights: Aggregated, transformed, delayed, statistical, or model-generated outputs that do not enable reconstruction of Raw Data (e.g., signals, scores, rankings, heatmaps, z-scores, probabilities).
  • Redistribution: Sharing, publishing, broadcasting, reselling, sublicensing, or making Perspicium Data available to third parties (publicly or privately).

3. Permitted uses

Subject to an active subscription and compliance with this Policy, you may:

  • Use Perspicium Data for internal research, trading, and risk management
  • Display Derived Insights in private notes, internal dashboards, or private client reporting
  • Publish commentary that references conclusions or high-level signals, provided no Raw Data is disclosed

4. Prohibited uses

You may not, directly or indirectly:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share Raw Data
  • Redistribute Derived Insights in a way that enables reconstruction of Raw Data or substitutes for Perspicium
  • Provide Perspicium Data to data aggregators, market data vendors, or competing analytics platforms
  • Use Perspicium Data to train or power competing models, datasets, or third-party-facing AI systems
  • Circumvent access controls, authentication, rate limits, or usage restrictions

5. API-specific rules

For API access (where applicable):

  • Do not expose API responses directly to end users
  • Transform API outputs into non-reconstructable Derived Insights before display
  • Do not bulk-extract, mirror, or replicate Perspicium services
  • Do not cache beyond what is explicitly allowed in your plan or agreement

6. Intellectual property

Perspicium Data (including signals, models, methodologies, dashboards, APIs, and documentation) is proprietary to Perspicium and/or its licensors. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in this Policy.

7. Enforcement

Perspicium may monitor usage for compliance and may suspend or terminate access for violations. Serious violations may result in revocation of API keys and legal action (including injunctive relief).

8. Custom licenses

Any redistribution beyond what’s allowed here (e.g., client-facing resale, white-labeling) requires a separate written agreement. Contact [email protected].

9. Updates

The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Perspicium constitutes acceptance of updates.
